The 2023 Air Jordan 4 Retro GS ‘Thunder’ brings back the iconic two-tone colorway originally introduced in 2006, now sized for older kids. The upper features sleek black nubuck, contrasted by vibrant yellow accents on the molded eyelets, quarter panels, and lower tongue. Black mesh netting on the quarter panel and tongue nods to the original 1989 AJ4 design, while classic Jumpman branding appears on the molded heel tab and woven tongue label. The look is completed with a yellow polyurethane midsole housing visible Air-Sole cushioning, supported by a herringbone rubber outsole for enhanced traction.
